As we've no doubt said before, Enspire has a long history at APC of turning in powerful, top of the line PCs that never cease to impress and sometimes amaze.

Once again, Enspire has brought to the table the creme de la creme of desktop technology, and done it with aplomb.

The Enspire Digital system is very powerful and was a definite contender for overall winner.

Machines like this aren’t for everyone, and putting a value for money score on the Lightspeed is like putting a price on a Fabergé egg; you can’t buy this anywhere else. And as for a performance score, it’s a shame we can’t go up to seven stars.

Enspire has come up with a cracking PVR / media centre (AVR-200) for the money...

Performance was otherwise excellent, and having dual tuners with the Ice program guide is something every PVR should have. This machine will also do games and web surfing well.

This time, the most well-rounded system was the Enspire. The Enspire machine had a good mix of CPU grunt, graphics and storage, with a top quality LCD monitor included in the package.

Overall, this is an impressive machine performance-wise, especially when compared to other entertainment PCs. It really still needs wireless/IR controls and, of course, a great big cabinet to store it in. If you do plan to use the Enspire in the lounge, consider purchasing it without the monitor, and hook it up to a decent big screen TV instead.
